I recently updated my sync 3 to 3.0 and got the new hub in order to get Apple car play on my car. However when I got it all set up it didn’t work. Anyone know anything about setting CarPlay up on the 2016’s?

Not sure what you mean by "new hub"? Installed new Apple Play compliant USB port in the center console storage area of my '16 EcoBoost with Sync 3. It works flawlessly. Got the port at local Ford dealer. Cost @ $70

I purchased a USB port from Amazon and did the sync upgrade with the thumb drive after about 30 mins updating and the changing the usb out. Plugged phone in and it’s all great. Music, Waze and phone calls and text work great! There are some good YouTube videos out there showing how to do it!
