No it’s ok , I just don’t have access to a PC right now but I’ll get one later and try again
I’ll follow the steps you suggested me and hope it’ll work
I might bug you again with another question if I need to and I’m grateful bro
I’ll save you all the bullshit I heard from those mechanics and technicians.. 🤯🤯
Did clearing the table fix the issue for you? Did you need the FORScan extended license to do that?

Hello, I reset the PCM module using FORScan w/ extended license (two month free trial). The transmission shifts smoothly, no more hard luges forward from R to D or in-between gears. Give it a try, it worked for me!

FORScan recommend this ODB link adapter:
OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter
Is resetting the PCM module same as "Clearing Transmission Adaptive Tables" ?

I recently purchased a new 2018 ecoboost. I’ve been having issues with it when I accelerate and coming to stops. It tends to be lagging and hesitation at acceleration. And when I come to a stop the car lunges forward as it down shifts from gear 3 to 2 to 1. Almost shoots forward into the car in front of me. Not safe. And something I’ve never felt coming to a stop in a car. I brought it to Ford and they ran tests. Said everything is normal. Anyone else have anything similar with their 2018-2019 ecoboost?
Help! I am having the same issue with my 2020 Ford Mustang EcoBoost, but I have already been injured from an accident due to the braking not working. I want/need to join a current class action. Do you happen to know anyone that I can contact? The dealership has put me off for over 1 year now, and my accident happened last July. I am scheduled to have it finally looked at in about a week and a half. That’s if they have a loaner car for me. My car isn’t safe, and I need someone to fend for me. I have tried several local law firms, but no one seems to have any good information to help me. Thank you for your time.

My transmission is still jerky as hell and does not downshift smoothly very often at all, almost 12,000 km on it now......

I guess second trip to dealer is in order....

Yes, my is clunky too as I shift from park to drive or reverse. Feels like something is gonna fall out under the car lol. I plan on taking it back for 2nd time. I talked to a Lemon law lawyer and they said should take it 3 times to dealership. Before you go forward and make lemon claim. Lawyer said they dealt with a lot of the new Ford auto transmissions. But just started hearing about the new mustang ecoboost transmissions recently.

Its 2022 and my 2021 is having these exact same problems.

My local dealer also says everything is normal.

I do not accept their answer. This is the worst downshifting transmission I have ever used.

any updates so far?
May 9th is my next appointment.
The downshifting is only slightly better right now. Temperature seems to play a role (hotter outside seems to help the issue) but the same thing keeps happening 95% of the time. The warmer weather makes the harshness a little smoother...but not much. Its like it has a mind of its own...and I hate it.
