When I did my first oil change at 1k miles I swapped to the FL-400S and put a full 6 quarts of 5w50 in the HPP. Using this filter with 6 quarts puts you exactly at the full mark on the dip stick. Here's an older thread discussing filters.

I have a 2021 Mustang EcoBoost HPP. The dealership was going to put 0w-30 in and I took my car back saying I knew that wasn't the correct oil, and HPP Mustangs have been known to have engine issues because of this error.

So I change my own oil using 5W-50 that meets WSS-M2C931-C Requirements and API SN. That way if something goes wrong and they test the oil, they can't deny service based on that.

As long as I log my oil changes in the Ford Service Records, I'm good.
