Hey everyone,
The car sat for four days with a 1/4 tank and I drove it to work today. A few miles from work I stopped to fill it up and it would only take three gallons, so I thought it was a problem with the pump.
But on the way home it would only fill to 3/4 on the gauge and that would be about right for the amount I put in. Later during the drive the gauge indicated full but the MTE was what I would see after burning 1/8 of a tank. Also it was pegged on full after a 55 mile drive, it has never done that before.
I wonder wha’s going on ?

Broken gauge or sending unit in the tank is my best guess. Could be a wiring connector issue also but I kind of doubt that. They are pretty good at that stuff these days. Most likely the sending unit in all my experience.

All was normal this morning, hopefully it will stay that way.
