ON MY 2015 EcoBoost Convertible there are three (3) Microphones to disconnect to shut off the extra engine noise microphones to disconnect for a quiet car.

1. Top center console where the dome lights are.
2. Left and right side under the plastic cover by the rear window on each side.

Thanks for posting. I’d have to ride in a car with them disconnected to know the difference I guess. With the top down can you really tell?

It has been too cold for top down. But top up it is very nice. That very annoying engine radio noise must be for 17-year-olds.

This might be a silly question, but after you disconnected everything did you notice a drop in the the maximum volume or quality of sound of your speakers while music is playing?
