Well I am most likely will be the the moron ... I just ordered 4.11 gears for my 17 mustang ecoboost... I have the NX2 turbo that fully kicks in around 3500 rpms... I use mine as a daily driver so I definitely will be the Guinea pig on this one. I will update later.

Interesting gear choice, why did you choose 4:11 gears over 3:73 or 3:55?

Mostly because I don't like the low rpm response when driving. I want it to get to the power ban of 3500 on the nx2 turbo. I like 0-60 and I can only get 5.7 right now. That's weak. I'm sure I will regret my decision but atleast people can learn from me.

5.7 on a 0 to 60 is a bit weak. Keep us posted on your progress and results.

A stick. Wow! You're going to be shifting a lot. You may want to try a 2nd gear launch also to see how that works.

I put 4.11's in a 1997 Z28 back when I bought it brand new. I didn't notice much if any difference in acceleration on the street but I sure did shift a lot.

It will be interesting to see how it works out on an 4cyl Ecoboost. I'll be following along.
