I have seen articles from time to time, but would like to know more.

esslinger engineering are duratec experts and would know better than anyone. however, you don't get all their R & D free of charge.

Yea, I talk to Brian all the time.

I wasnt talking about the Duratec head though (which flows even better), I was referring to the 4 port ecoboost head.


esslinger engineering are duratec experts and would know better than anyone. however, you don't get all their R & D free of charge.

the 2.3 ecoboost is a duratec engine. i'm sure esslinger knows all about the head you're referencing.

there are two different individual port heads for the eb/duratec.

1. the head off of a 2015 Fusion which comes on these engines
2. the individual port head that replaces the single port us ecoboost head, and found in the european market

they are totally different heads, the eu head retains di, to duratec head heads is only port injection


the 2.3 ecoboost is a duratec engine. i'm sure esslinger knows all about the head you're referencing.
