Hit 1000 tonight!

How long did it take to hit 1000 miles? I took delivery October 4, 2022 and currently sit at 982 miles.

I bought beginning March 2023. I go out cruising with my friend or my son. Otherwise I work from home and it sits in the garage. So 2 1/2 months. Car had 22 miles on it when I got it.

You don't buy a Mustang to leave it in the stable.

I think it took me a month to get the first thousand miles on mine...

Ground speed? As opposed to air speed? Nautical speed?

Supposedly, it's a call back to the P-51 Mustang, which was allegedly the inspiration for naming the car all those years ago. 🤷‍♂️

** Of course, with Mustang drivers' reputations, finding a pic or video of one airborne or in water probably isn't too difficult. 😂

I get a lot less by keeping it in the garage, but even I'm still getting a thin layer here in NJ just parking for a short amount of time. At least on the white you don't see it as much. Our brown Altima you can totally see a layer of yellow.

Ok. I finally hit the 1000 mile mark today; a total of 223 days. A little 3rd grade math shows an average of 4.48 miles per day. Need to rework the rotation or get rid of some vehicles.

Wow, it took me about a month to put over 2 thousand on mine. I bought it with 8 miles on the odo back in late 2020 and now it's sitting with 45k. Kinda makes me realize how much I drive lol.
