So is 32 bad? I get 26-32 on highway going 70mph. Temperature is 70s today vs like 40s last few days. Been hitting 23psi for boost all day too.

Nope. Like @Strokercrate mentioned, timing is dynamic. 32-36 BTDC seems to be pretty normal for most engines, even clear back into the Sixties. Keep in mind that under part-throttle the mixture burns even slower, so needs some more advance. That all changes when you put your foot down.

Was so much easier to manually control. Loosen the bolt on distributor turn and tighten. Instant power. Oh and turning the breather top disk upside down to breathe more air 😂

It's kind of funny to think that the modern engines are doing the same thing we used to do; turn the distributor a bit and try it. It knocks? Back it off and try again. Repeat. Do the same with jetting, except look at the plugs (or the O2 sensor). Now, do that hundreds of time a second, and you have today's engine packages.
