I have a 2015 ecoboost with 110k on it. My car about once a week will throw p0300, p0303, and p0316. Idk why, it runs fine as far as I can tell. I've changed spark plugs, I flip flopped cylinder 2 and 3 ignition coils. Anyone else had this issue that can point me in the right direction?

Any update on the codes your Mustang has been throwing?

PS; It helps us, if you can give us the definition of the codes your getting. A 300 code is a random misfire, 303 is a cylinder #3 misfire and I think 316 is a misfire on start-up!??

Are you losing any coolant or have any white or sweet smelling smoke coming from the tailpipe(s)? Reason I ask is that a coolant leak into a cylinder(s) due to a head gasket leak can cause misfires (don't ask me how I know). I wasn't getting the random misfire, but I did have the cylinder 3 misfire and the misfire after startup codes. The P0316 code for me seemed to be a function of how long it sat as to whether it would throw or not, probably due to how much coolant collected in the cylinder. The cylinder 3 misfire while intermittent at first became almost every time it ran and eventually started throwing cylinder 2 misfire code just before it was fixed. The dealer ended up fixing on their dime (warranty).
