Hello folks,

Starting to get more active of the forum and thought it would be nice to share my build with the group. Nothing extravagant but not standard as well.

performance mods:

1) Mmr cold air intake (tried many and this is by far the best sounding and good performance)
2) steedthrottle body spacer (came with the car but don’t think make any difference at all)
3) Precision turbonetics NX2 big turbo (best mod by far)
4) tune plus inc upgraded waste gate actuator for nx2
5) mishimoto Catless downpipe
6) mbrp race catback (custom connection to make it 3 inch all the way)
7) mishimoto upgraded radiator
8) mishimoto upgraded radiator hoses
9) mishimoto hard pipes (cold and hot side)
10) ETS intercooler
11) UPR crankcase breather catch can
12) UPR smoke fix catch can
13) sr coilovers
looks:

1) duck tail spoiler painted white
2) rear decklid black all the way no emblem
3) front top and low grille from cervini
4) upgraded turn signal lights on led from OPT7
5) Pinted black (bumper trim color) rear bumper
6) painted black bumper trim color side skirts and front lip
7) tinted all the way with American muscle kit
8) digital cluster upgrade
9) rear seat delete kit from American muscle
10) upgraded steering wheel in black alcantara

Running:

420 to the wheel (e30, transmission tune, burble tune) from Adam at tune+.
Last mod I’m waiting is the xdi hpfp (evo) since my car is running lean (fuel rail pressure cannot keep up) with the stock fuel system at high rpms.

That's an impressive setup you've got. I ran mine on the NX2 turbo with a tune from Ryan. I upgraded to the XDI pump and had been running it for about 4 days before the motor blew. I'm on my way down to engineered motorsports to have them rebuild my motor with forged internals. Be careful with your build at 420 HP. You are in the danger zone of throwing a rod or cracking the block. I ended up with 2 holes in the block.

i feel you. I’m happy with the set up and very scared at the same time of blowing the engine as you did. Did you think that the stock pump was holding power back to a degree it was the safety / limiting factor to not blow your engine? In what conditions did you blew your engine? Wot at 3rd or 04th gear? We’re you pushing it hard? Any information helps!

I had just made a right turn and gave it about 1/2 throttle when the engine let go. Blew the head gasket cracked the block and threw a rod at the same time. Expensive lesson but she'll be up and running in no time. On the plus side... Shes getting Ford performance cams in the build...

Yes. Rolling the dices at this power lever is what they say. Want to see the progress on your build when it’s done. Keep us posted. I’m sure with forged internals and the cam this thing will be fast.
