Need help looking for new tires

I have a 2016 ecoboost premium with 19” rims and am currently running Sailum Atrezzo SVA1 255/40R19 100H XL / M+S tires and my rear tires need replaced from doing mustang things. Anyone have any recommendations on if I should just get the same tires or if there is something better that I can get for a similar price?

Why would you want Chinese tires? Michelin, Continental, Toyo, Nitto and Firestone all make excellent tires for our pony cars.

There are more questions than just price and size when it comes to buying tires for our cars.

Where do you live? Those of us in Texas or California can get away with summer tires year round. If you're in a place with more variability in your weather and need an all-season tire the recommendations get different.

What size wheels are you using? I see 19", but 19x what? If they're wide enough you can go 275/35 or 285/35.

This is my first time ever buying tires so I’m not sure where to find my exact wheel size. I live in northern Colorado but I do not drive the car during the winter But just incase I will probably get all seasons

I am currently looking at continental CONTROL CONTACT SPORT SRS+ not sure if those are any good or not
If they're stock wheels, we can generally tell you the width based on a photo. But...

Based on the size you quoted earlier, I'm guessing Performance Pack?

In a Continental tire I would recommend -
Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus

But at that price the Michelin would be better -

Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4

If they’re stock wheels the proper size tire should be on the sticker on the drivers jamb.

I’ll go check that as soon as I can. I’m supposed to be working right now, instead I’m tire shopping

Not sure if you have them over there but Bridgestone make a budget performance tyre called a Dayton. I've had them on my Mustang PP (9teens) for coming up two years. There a slightly harder compound so last a fair while longer then any of the other tyres I've tried so far, Most last about a year even with rotation coz there soft and leave alot of the tread on the tarmac each rotation, great for grip if you want to track it or push it's envelopes but trust me for the road, even with a bit of sprites driving these and just about any tyre (esp here) sold will exceed the minimum safety requirements for road use and they pretty strict in Australia. I think they work about $125 Aus dollars each fitted balanced. Best all round tyre I've had to date longevity grip (wet and dry) price nose. Of course there is always "better" out there just depends what you use your car for and how much you want to pay.

Good to know, I’ll look into those. Think I’m leaning towards the Michelin pilot sport all season 4

I had those on my old Escape. Really good balance between traction and wear.

If you are going to keep doing "Mustang things" then buy whatever fits your budget. If you want quality tires for actual driving, there are some good recommendations here.

An excellent choice! When my Mustang needs tires, I'm putting Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on it. It's a summer tire, but I live in San Diego, so no issues with cold weather. There's a reason many high-performance Mustangs (and other cars) come from the factory with Michelin PS4s. They work...and they last...well, at least better than most other summer tires.

I installed RIA set of these when the Goodyears were worn too thin to go through another winter. They Michelins actually hold air. I haven’t had to add air for 6 months. Didn’t even lose pressure in the winter.
