Hey guys, 2016 EcoBoost, non-pp, manual, with an MBRP race cat back, stock tune, and 46,000 miles.

Currently I have to push the car pretty hard to make a max of even 10-13 psi of boost, whereas before it would be around 21-22 psi.

However, if I rev the car in neutral to around 2-3k rpm, at around 13-9 in. Hg of vacuum, the BPV will vent, which it hasn’t before, or at least I haven’t noticed. I recall having to rev it out pretty hard in neutral for it to vent.

I’ve checked all the charge piping and given everything a good tightening, but the problem persists.

Is it time to replace the BPV, or should I be looking elsewhere such as the wastegate?

I uninstalled it, the old tune went bsck, and my car was normal. You can’t have Cobb installed and have oem tune installed.
If I recall it made me pick a tune during install.

but it was annoying so I removed it and my car was normal.Uninstalled 100% never looked back

That's not technically true you can have multiple maps loaded at the same time up to five maps can be loaded in maps slots selectable on the fly by pressing the cancel button on the steering wheel and selected with the set up or down button for each map slot. The rev counter will point to the number of the map slot you select.

However this can only be done via a custom tune. I have it on my car.

I had this happen when I had my custom blow valve off mod on and I installed a custom tune I completely lost boost and ran a code. I removed the BOV and got my boost back after clearing the code .

Problem has been fixed.

I brought it into Ford to utilize my warranty and also have an oil leak checked out because the car was getting low.

Turns out there was a low oil pressure code that didn’t trigger a CEL. The oil leak was from the valve cover.

This caused the car to go into limp mode. Both oil leak and ‘boost leak’ have been fixed.

Happy motoring ya’ll.
