ON-TRACK, drivers will tackle the 2.55-Mile High Plains Raceway and vie for the best single lap during TimeAttack lapping sessions and combine that with a furious no-endurance needed point-to-point TrackSprint event. The best times from each will be combined to determine finishing order and the top three overall and in each class stand on the KONI Podium and take home the trophies.

Driver Entry Fee: $250.00 - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
* Don't forget: If you're not an SCCA Member you will need to add a Full or Weekend Membership. If you don't have your own AMB or AMB-Compatible transponder, you will need to add a rental transponder.

OFF-TRACK: Those who want to experience the action, excitement and festivities of a Time Trials National Tour are not limited to drivers. Corner Workers, Tech Officials, Timing and Scoring gurus and more are absolutely welcome at the event and at the parties. Helping as a volunteer, worker or officials costs nothing (you even get some goodies) and those interested can register by clicking the link below.

Doing my "homework" -- since I've not ever driven on HPR, figured I'd get a little lowdown from the guys at Racers360

The trailer's packed, AP is loaded with the appropriate 91 octane tune, filled the jug with E85, electronics and racing paraphernalia is all boxed up .... just have to get the wife to get her sh*t together, the cat at the vet/condo/boarding house and I'm ready to get on the road.

Time Attack #4 -- my fast 2 laps. Once I figured out that I need to use the track and to "track out," the times dropped.

Time attack is the time trial portion of the event. Go out, run laps and your fastest lap counts. There was a great course to driver ratio and we didn't have much passing at all. In fact I never got passed by my buddy from Houston who is so much faster than I. He keeps telling me I'm getting faster. :D
