First car was a 1986 Svo, so I have a soft spot for those cars. But after that I've had many Fox Mustangs with V8's and with my current car being a 01 Bullitt.
I was excited back when they first brought the 2.3T back In the stang.
Now I'm 40, and I'm tired of working on my own cars. More so, I don't have the time or the patience anymore lol.
Also I'm just ready for a car I can just have fun driving without worrying about it.
So here I am now looking at a 2020 Ecoboost high performance with the 10 speed.
Why they didn't name it the SVO, they missed on that one.

So I ask those that have the HPP with the 10 speed in particular
What are the Pros and cons?

I personally hate the fender badges,
I'll be taking them off and putting Svo on it lol.

If it were me I would skip the performance package and go FBO with a tune however if you just want to drive it off the lot and have fun the HPP is the way to go if you dont want a V8.

I was looking for what you didn't like about the car.
What's the long term experience with it.
As I said my first car was a 86 Svo,
Ported bolt-on, GN turbo, front mount, 300 to the wheels. Loved it. But I wanted more and went Foxbody 5.0 owned 9 of them in various years plus for stock to 500hp daily driver.
Plus 2 drag coupes in the 9's. A few years back I sold all the toys, expect a 2001 Bullitt.
But now its time to let that go too.
The main reason for this is. Over the many years of driving manual transmission vehicle especially with heavy clutch pedals
I've developed problems with my knee and I'm ready for a brand new car with a automatic 😭
I'd like to have the V8 for the sound but I'm not spending 40 or 50k on one.
I can get a 2020 ecoboost high performance,
with just the option I'm looking for, still brand new for 30k.
Most likely be putting the down payment on it in a few weeks
Again I was just looking for Likes and dislike.
and maybe preventative maintenance mods only.
Only things I really had planned for was to
de-badge It or change them to svo
Put a good 8" sub and maybe a tuner down the road.
And just drive it.

I have a 2020 HPP/HP and it is a good car. I love the magnaride shocks. If you will not be autocrossing it in stock class, you really should get a FMIC and a tune. Then just drive it. It will take about 3K miles until the engine really feels good. Then add the FMIC and a tune and drive it. Your performance will be better and if you keep your foot out of it your economy will be better. Good Luck.

I considered a used 5.0, but I really want something new with a full warranty.
I'm going to try to hold off on the mods as long as I can lol. I just want a good cruising every, that will hold it's own.
