The SCCA Texas Region Club Trial registration is open for the August 26 Club Trial/PDX event at MSR-Cresson. There will be 4 TT run groups and only one PDX run group.
2 run groups for CT participants, one run group for Instructor CT participants and 1 student group. We hope this will open up more space on the track for CT cars to allow you to get your best time on track, and allowing those interested in instructing more "down" time between runs and instruction.
We are being allowed the use of the new classroom and building for this event, which is air conditioned!
Space is limited due to the shorter track, so sign up soon!
Welcome to the August 26, 2017 edition of our series. I wanted to send to you a copy of the key information you will need for this weekend’s event. Please read through the attached packet, and be sure to be ready to go for check in at MSR- Cresson at 7:00 Saturday morning.
· Drivers MUST check in by 7:00
· Check in - will be at the clubhouse at TWS – Look for the Club Trials sign
· Tech Forms - Make sure you bring your Tech forms filled out and complete – Each driver is responsible for the safety of themselves and their competitors with their Tech inspection. Make sure all loose objects are removed from car and car is checked for tire pressures, tight lug nuts, seat belts/harness secure, Oil and fluids are topped off etc.
· Helmets - your helmet MUST be checked prior to allowing you on track. See the SCCA Solo Helmet guidelines to make sure your helmet is compatible. Bring your helmet to Check in for approval. Approved Helmet list 2017
· Transponders – your transponder rental for the day will be checked out to you at check-in. You are responsible for the care and return of this device throughout the event. Transponders not returned at the end of the event will be subject to a $450.00 charge. This transponder will need to be mounted on your vehicle prior to your first session. It is the ONLY way to track your timing
· First Run Session is at 8:30 AM! – We need you to be in the driver’s meeting ready to go at 7:00 to make sure you have time to get into grid and ready to run for maximum track time
· We run Rain or Shine! Keep an eye on the weather as we have an expected Hurricane hitting the far Texas Coast. As of now, it is not expected to affect us, but the weather is apt to change.
See you Saturday!!
