For a 0-60 pull, I recommend going to your local dragstrip and then putting your transmission gear selector in "S", mode in drag, steering in sport, turning off advance traction control, plus brake boosting to 1750 rpm in 1st gear.

Doesn't putting it in drag mode disable both trac control and advance trac both?

That's what I thought I understood, and track only turns off trac control but not advance trac?

Does shifter in D or S make any difference in either track or drag?

Not on my 2018, I still have to use the toggle switches.
I've never used track only.
If I leave the shifter in "D", I can use the paddles to shift manually, and the transmission will also shift itself, as needed.
If I put the selector in "S", and don't touch the paddles, the transmission will shift itself, but different from "D", it doesn't skip gears and the shift points are at a higher RPM.
However, if the selector is in "S" and I use the paddles to upshift or downshift, then I need to make all shifts manually.

in My 16 it seems to shift faster with the paddles than when it’s just in drive, but that could just be placebo

track mode on my car disables a lot or traction control but it will still kick in if the car starts to slide too much, but it will let you slide it. Holding the traction control switch until the message shows up turns off 95% of traction control. You can turn off traction control 100% by pulling the dyno plug, it’s under the hood by the air box. Looks like a plug that goes nowhere. when Unplugged it disables everything.

I usually do more road coarse and If I’m manually shifting it trans is in “s” car is in track mode, traction control gets disabled after first heat when the car and me are warmed up lol. If I’m just auto shifting it i leave it in drive because it seems like drive guesses what gear I want more accurately, I believe this is because my tune changed a bunch of transmission settings. Before I was tuned ”s” did a better job

I need to review my owners manual for my 2020 to refresh my memory some on if I still need to use the toggles to turn trac control and advance trac off in track and drag mode. I really haven't driven it hard in track mode to really know but in drag made my car spin the tires on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts pretty good so just assumed the trac control and advance trac were off because it will do the same if I turn off both the trac control and advance trac. If I just turn off the trac control it does not spin as easy or as much as in drag mode. This is all with the shifter in D, everything else you say about using the paddles in D and S is the same as you state above.
