At 3720 lbs with half a tank and my 210 lb body in car.......
Tomorrow night I will put five gallons of e-85 in tank and head to track, it has 93 octane in tank now.
It will be much cooler then last Friday, will lower air pressure to 25# in back tires and do some burn-outs to put some heat into tires! I put a drop in free flowing filter in airbox for Friday. LOL!
My 1991 mustang 5.0 weighed 3640 with six-point cage and me.

My base 2018 w/ 10spd transmission weighed in at 3650 with driver!?? Which is a full 500 lbs more than my '65 convertible did back in "the day!" (I also weighed 25lbs less).

An earlier Ford Falcon with old school power plant runs the NMRA circuit. It would be awesome to see a Falcon with a modern Ecoboost drivetrane!!
I'm going to be running the tried and true WCT5 behind it at first, then after she is burning tires we'll move to the TKX as it has better gearing options in my opinion and is getting really good press. I have a 65 Wagon as well that is scheduled for a Gen2 3.5 Raptor motor and 4r70W... I just can't bring myself to cut the floors... Living in the PNW "solid" floors are hard to come by in a classic.

This is a case where the "Tow vehicle" might out perform the trailer-ed vehicle LOL... Either way, I'll be grinning from ear to ear ...

Ford Australia did this between 2012 - 2016, but is never sold well. Even though it performed very well.
The Ecoboost Falcon had a 2.0 Litre engine.

Sorry to hi-jack, I just got carried away posting that it's in... I'll delete if you'd like.
No need to delete. I sure hope you are doing a build thread. That is incredible work, and inspires me to get busy on my '83 GT

Lil bit more done to her... starting to resemble an actual car... Swap mounts will get turned into billet aluminum tomorrow. We need some silicone for the cold side but all the aluminum tubing is done and welded. Obviously everything will get a touch up and re-polished or painted not sure yet. The IC clears the stock 65 grille, but mine is trashed so we whipped up this little billet number from an old Chebby truck. Bash bar with jacking point and oil cooler mount behind the "plate" recess in the 'glass bumper. tons of tedious crap to do before we can even start her up..
