I also did a similar thing around the adaptor to air box, sealed the gap with rubber moulding.
I am also thinking of making a perspex lid for mine.

I use the C&L Racing Closed Cold Air intake. It performs looks and sounds great. Plexiglass could look better.

It seems Ford Performance offers a CAI for the 2020-2021 EB HPP, but for the CAI with the tune (Pro Cal), you're referred to the package for the 2017 EB, and the vendors then tell you it won't fit the EB HPP. So it's ambiguous. Does anyone know for sure whether there's a FP CAI that fits the 2020-2021 EB HPP, either with tune or without?

On my personal Mustang I still have the stock box with drop in filter.
On my track car I went DIY relocating the air intake to the bottom grille. My goal is to free up space under the hood for future modifications. Did I increase the performance? Probably not... But you never know??
