Ok, I guess I’ll go first. I put this gloss black ford logo on my engine cover. I’ll be ordering the MMD radiator extension covers and the strut tower covers this weekend
Immediately, no, but maybe down the roadAre you planning on getting a tower brace? Depending on witch one you go with those tower covers might not fit
How's the decal set on the engine cover holding up? I put a Grabber Blue set on mine about 2 months ago and everytime I left the hood some portion of it is lifting. Don't think it will last much longer.Ok, I guess I’ll go first. I put this gloss black ford logo on my engine cover. It has done well so far. Mine have been on for around 2 months also. I used the wet method to line the decals up, then used a flat, felt, scraper to push out the water, and I finished it up with a hair dryer to heat them in place. No peeling to date and the white has stayed surprisingly clean, given my car is not garage kept. Also, with the hood blanket/cover off, I have not noticed any extra dirt or debris. How's the decal set on the engine cover holding up? Well, now that you ask... This morning I took her out for some 1/8 mile tests. The title says it all. I enjoy seeing what other people are doing. It helps with ideas for new projects. I couldn't find this type of thread on this forum, so let's get it going...
Maybe so, but your blacked out front end still looks awesome!Mud bath View attachment 24007
I don’t know how you can possibly test drive that GT350 and not want to take it home. Congratulations on your new car. We will miss you on the Ecoboost forumWell, now that you ask... This morning I took her out for some 1/8 mile tests.

Later this evening I decided to start removing the plasti-dip off my wheels because of peeling and the overall dull look. I only got one wheel done tonight in gloss black though. (Disregard the discoloration of the caliper. That's a whole different story and will be resolved soon.)

Tomorrow... well, at 9am I have a scheduled test drive in this 2017 GT350. Why you may ask...? Because my sales rep called me and asked me too

If youre replying to mine, i didnt get the wheels at the same time. But still, if you need to replace a wheel it may not even be close. I just didnt expect them to be this far off in color.Wow. They don't even match their own wheels.![]()
Wow. Nice work. It looks like the same color in the pictureIf youre replying to mine, i didnt get the wheels at the same time. But still, if you need to replace a wheel it may not even be close. I just didnt expect them to be this far off in color.
I fixed the one myself, but I feel like I did much a better job as just an amateur painter without having any paint matching computers.. Still not perfect but close enough for now.
Which tuner and who is doing the tune? Definitely on my future to do listStill data logging the car for the tuner. She definitely has woke up especially above 3k rpm. It's fun feeling the improvements after each update
