I got a second notice of the recall. I haven't called any of the local dealers to ask about it though.
I only asked because it was in the dealer to get the freeway damage fixed. They did that, 3 recalls and the transmission output speed sensor issue I was having.
(btw, the techs didn't realize that Livernois put the motor in this one ... :D )

Not so much a did to my Mustang as a for my Mustang (and the other vehicles). We have a small storage loft in the top of the garage, where I put a pancake compressor I came into possession of and connected it to a 50’ hose reel. It has enough grunt to run the gun for swapping tires and airing them up. Of course, you’re supposed to drain after each use, which I have been irregularly doing because I have to move the car out to do so. So, I finally put a remote drain on it with 3/8” soft copper. I had to build a little wood frame to tip the compressor so the outlet was at the bottom. Works great.

last night i had a sort of drag with a Holden Commadore SV8 , he was in front of me at the lights and was revving a bit, so i thought if he floors it, i'll floor it. which he did.

i was right up his arse the whole time, which was good. but i was bedazzled by the instrument cluster.
along the top when you get to around 4,000 revs two green rectangle things appear at either end, and as the revs go higher additional green things appear.
as they got closer together they went to yellow, then finnaly red. i was like, aww wow, it goes red.then i realised that was because i was over the red line.

the car had an odd smell afterwards, like burn oil.

You may of had a little blow-by. You may want to check your PCV system via crankcase pressure. If it's positive, while your motor is at idea, your check valve may be stuck open due to contamination. If your pressure is negative, then it was probably just a little motor oil and should be OK!?

. Decided to remove the whole piece just to replace the rear bushing with hydraulic press at work.. max two mins to change both. Added loctite as stated to use but that's worthless do to pressing this bushing on removes all loctite. Used 36 socket and a pipe connector I found.. made them both equal from both sides

I got sick of my phone being in inconvenient places so I installed an eBay phone holder with a 6” USB cable. Since the 3M tape isn’t strong enough I put 4 black screws in to make it permanent.
It’s the little things lol

Frustrated with my car today.

Got in it this morning on a brisk 32 degree Texas morning to warm it up and take it over for a car wash. scraped the frost off the windows and drove over to the car wash, and the vents were blowing cold the whole time. Temp gauge was in the middle of the range, but it never gave me warm air in the cabin. At no point did it indicate overheating, or any CEL. It was running fine the whole time.

I popped the hood to find an empty coolant reservoir.

After letting it cool off I put in a half gallon of pre-mix coolant and it started giving me warm air in the cabin.

for those not in-the-know I've already replaced the head gasket once at 35K miles, and it's at 61K miles now...

That sucks! I went through that with my 2018, twice! Both times was able to get it taken care of under warranty before it expired. Hopefully my new 2022 won't have that issue, but I do have an extremely heavy foot and like to push the boundaries.

I installed the Steeda 1" rear sway bar. Definitely changes the handling for the better, The front end wants to tuck into the corners instead of plowing straight ahead. View attachment 44153
Nice I also install mines. But I installed Ford performance sway bar. But haven't drove it cause I still got couple things to do. And to much salt on the road

Wierdest sh*t -- drove it to work, want to clear the registers/monitors for an inspection.
Went out to start it and all h*ll broke loose. About every light on the dash came on, Advance Trac error, no climb assist, wrench and even a low oil pressure.
Unplugged the OBD2/ELM dongle (monitoring with Torque for the monitors), and it started back up. about 8 or 9 communications codes cleared.
My son says he's seen this before with the ELM dongle. Anyone else had this happen?

Back to scratch clearing the registers --- need to get the car inspected.
