I currently own a 2018 Mustang Ecoboost Premium in Royal Crimson. It has stock 18 inch wheels with a Goodyear 235/50R18. I was wondering which rim/tire combo I should pick that both perform good, (for about 450-500hp) and look good. Not ready to buy right away, maybe next year.

Every Mustang owner is going to have their own opinion on wheels. There are a lot of options out there. Get what looks good to you.

Tire and wheel choices are also going to depend on the use of the vehicle....DD, drag, auto cross, etc.

I would be mostly daily-ing the car. Some drag racing once every couple weeks.
In that case you’d want 10” wide in the rear at the minimum, front can either be the same or skinnier, even down to “skinnies”. Tires should probably be your first consideration, for price point and which tire works in your area (tracks, etc), then choose a diameter.....sticky tire prices vary greatly depending on diameter.
LMR, CJPony, AM all have tire and wheel drag packages.
