How do I know I have the fake engine noise on the ecoboost?

I really like my fake engine noise. Its the fake 'charbroil' smell Burger King pumps out every 20 minutes or so that I don't like.
I agree with you.
I really dig the fake sound, which I only get when in Sport+ or Track mode. In Normal mode I cannot hear it.
It makes the car sound like a V8 (not the exhaust, I'm talking about the engine noise).
The sound, sounds like it is coming from the engine bay NOT the exhaust at the rear.

I cannot for the life of me understand why so many Ecoboost Mustang owners don't like it?
Maybe Ford tweaked it for the 2017 and newer models, maybe the sound is different on Australian and globally exported models to US ones... I don't know?

If I take someone as a passenger in mine, and put it on Sport +, and I have not told them it's not a V8... They would never know, unless they are a GT owner or know Mustangs.

It sounds nothing like the fake sound you can test out when using the Cobb Accessport at 1000, 200, 3000 rpm etc... Which to me just sound like "test tones".... Nothing like that at all.

The fake sound I get is more of a V8 rumble.

No way would I want to disable the fake sound.

I hope also everyone here realizes that the GT also pumps "fake sound" into the cabin, not through the speakers like an Ecoboost, but through a physical rubber sound tube connected to the air intake.

So even the GT's have 'fake' or amplified sound put into the cabin. :)

The fake sound is produced from the engine sound and rpm not the exhaust note.
