Has anyone else ordered these from NewAutoParts.com? I placed an order on March 8th, their website said 7-10 day delivery. My order has been in for 10 days, and their order tracking still says the the ETA is N/A and the order is being processed. I have emailed them twice with no response.

Has anyone else had issues with NewAutoParts.com deliveries?

They are drop shipping this particular item.
You order it from them, they order it from somewhere else.
Mine took 3 weeks to arrive most of that time was newautoparts waiting to receive the order to ship.

I ordered on March 8th, here is my status as of today:

Processing items
Item Part # Quantity Amount Status ETA
Seat Belt Guide 10386174 1 $10.17 N/A
Seat Belt Guide 10385983 1 $9.89 N/A

I don't mind so much that the parts didn't get here in 7-10 days as not being given any information on why the parts didn't arrive when I was lead to believe. Not answering either of the emails I sent inquiring about my status is also irritating.

i ordered the 2 brackets from newautoparts with the plan to drill holes in them, they showed up. and sure enough, they sent me 2 of the same part (even though the duplicate was in the correct box)

unfortunately, i drilled the holes without checking lol. welp, my passenger now gets a fancy seat belt guide

I wonder why Ford did the leather belt holder on the coupes since they did a similar plastic holder as in this thread on the convertibles.

I imagine that it may have something to do with the relationship between where the belt exits the interior of the body and the angle/location its at when it gets to the seat, as I suspect that due to the top mechanism the points are different between the 'vert and the coupe.

I'm reviving this thread to provide useful information not previously reported.
I know the parts man at the local Govt Motors dealership so I got him to order the guides for me with a regular order so that I wouldn't have to pay shipping costs. He had then within 4 days and he charged me jobber or wholesale price. I walked out the door with them for $28 and change, sales tax included.
The center-to-center distance of the Mustang headrest support rods is 5-7/8". The rods are 1/2" diameter and the rods will not slide freely through the guide with 1/2" holes. I used a step drill and each step is not long enough to drill completely through the guide so I drilled halfway from each side using the 9/16" step on the drill.
The inboard end of the guide has an elongated hole. The 9/16" drill leaves this hole round, not elongated. You must drill a completely new hole on the outboard end as the GM hole spacing is much too narrow for the Mustang support rods. Once I had the hole spacing and hole size determined it took about 3 minutes to drill the holes.
