Single Exhaust or Dual Exhaust?

Anyone running a single exhaust system? It seems like one would get better performance out of a single run rather than Y'ing it off for the dual look. we would also be paying for an additional muffler which seems kind of a waste. I think I would still have a dummy tail pipe just for the look though if I did run a single system.

I wonder if there are any dyno comparisons yet?

maybe something like this

Thanks for any answers

As for the fake tip? No freaking thanks. I'd rather have the empty cut-out than a non-functioning tip. (I could get one from the autoparts supercenter run by the three brothers, or ebay)
Yeah, honestly that tip looks like it might get wonky after awhile plus you can tell its fake in their picture.

An off-road down pipe should make a decent gain in HP and Tq and taking out the huge resonator and the Y'd off piping should gain some as well. I don't know if its 1k$ worth of gain, but it would be compounding with other bolt-ons.

I will know that soon. I have a friend who customizes cars -- currently autocrosses a 1000HP 68 Camaro. Twin-stinking turbo baby!!

sweet car. I love the 60's "Huggers". I can't imagine a twin turbo! 327? I couldn't see the pic for whatever reason, most likely my side. Side-note: Network sucks at work. I already had to re-terminate the wiring in my office. They had "twisted" cable ends on solid core wire. Uhhg..

Let me know on that bumper customization cost. I might have to drive down from OKC and get it done. I know it probably cost different depending on color.

I already need a touch up on the front bumper anyways. Had a rock fly over from the other side of the interstate yesterday and take a nice chunk out of my front bumper, right next to the right side fog lamp. :/

Sweet let us know so I have a ball park for the body work after a drop the 1,400 on the exhaust
I guess its a plus that we don't have to buy a header for these cars. Though I am pretty sure I spent waaay less than 1400 on exhaust for the old 5.0s. Oh well.

Though I do wonder what porting does for the integrated manifold?

I think I am going to work my way into full single exhaust. I may just start with the downpipe first and go from there. That way I am not spending a lot all at once.

I'm thinking my first mod though will be the boomba BOV adapter. Though I am unsure on how it performs as opposed to a fully fledged BOV that vents to atmosphere. However, 65 bucks gives me a chance to pop the hood and take some stuff apart.
