The 2020 HPP is 1 CC (chubby cheerleader) heavier than a standard EB?

That is interesting.
But what is even more intriguing is that our Australian delivered 2020 HPP Mustangs are even heavier again!

Ford Australia are quoting a kerb weight of 1,716 Kgs for the auto and 1,705 Kgs for the manual version.
Doing the conversion to pounds, the auto weighs in at 3,783 lbs !!

That's another 112 lbs on your US version.

Reference weight of Aussie 2020HPP;
Mustang High Performance 2.3L Fastback

My 2017 PP auto weighs in at 1629 Kgs (3,591 lbs), so the Aussie 2020 HPP is now 192 lbs heavier.... That's getting into GT territory!

The increasing weight of the Ecoboost mustang, especially in PP form, since the original base model in 2015, probably explains why the 2015 base probably had the best 0 -60 times.
(Until the 10-speed auto evened up the score).
It also explains why Aussie delivered models (all being PP optioned and heavier) and maybe some Euro RHD versions, are never able to achieve the same acceleration times as US versions.

Well, not exactly. This article shows a 0-60 at 5.2 for a 2015 Premium PP Auto with basically every option that my car has except adaptive cruise. These early Valencia cars were the fastest EB's ever tested until the re-tuned EB came out in 2018 I believe? I have an October 2014 Valencia engine. I personally think the early Valencia engines have a more aggressive factory tune based on the increasing 0-60 times from 2014-2017. The early 2014 cars were the fastest and the 2017 the slowest. The 2014 results are nearly identical to 2018 results despite the 10 spd and more torque.
Well, I agree the 2017 must be the slowest.
The best I have ever achieved in my Aussie auto RHD PP 2017 EB with Cobb Stage 1 tune, KN drop in filter, and Michelin PS4 tyres is a 5.7 sec 0 - 100Km.
That's with a 2000rpm launch and the traction nannies off.
Before the tune, best I could get was high 6's.
