Impressive gas mileage was that all freeway mileage Squid?

I only get overall 20.5 MPG which is normal LA area gridlock traffic.
Squid either drives only hwy miles or goes like 40,lol. I avg. about 24 mix of city/hwy and don't get on it but every now and then to pass.

Wait until the 16th. I will post a 4 to 6 MPG display from the track. 1.7 mile laps, foot on the boost button the entire way.

(Yes I do left foot brake when I'm not heel-toe braking)

On the open highway with little traffic and some hills to coast down..I average high 20's to low thirties with just highway miles. I had a stretch of road one time with a lot of down hill and I averaged close to 40...but that is rare. Average 24 = 27 combined.

That was from San Diego to Dallas. It was 3 mpg higher than the trip out.

It was 90% highway mileage. I believe that the wind on both trips was going west to east, so going out was all into the wind.
It's funny, I noticed your trip miles when I read about your exh system. I assumed that reflected all highway use.
My best to date is 26.9 on a trip to my daughters college and back.
Usually it returns 22.5- 24.9 combined.

Both of those were 95% highway miles. I'll post a pic after I get about 3 tanks or so under my belt.

I think we're all doing about the same. I get 23.5 MPG in mixed driving and 30 MPG on the highway. Keep in mind that Squid and I both have the 3:55 rear gear; so that's pretty impressive.

Me too I have 3:55 gears too. But I don't drive mine much

I have the PP with 3.55 gears and I have averaged almost 33 mpg over a full tank on a trip. Back and forth to work on a 48 mile suburban commute where I average about 40 mph I get 29-31 mpg. I have gotten as much as 38 mpg driving like I had an egg between my foot and the gas but can't maintain that for more than one trip to work.

The 3.55 gears are not a liability for mileage IMHO.

I average somewhere in the 19's ......... I can't keep my foot out of it ......... just too much fun.

I did a 80 mile trip all freeway, no traffic and no stomping the pedal just cruising to see how good I could do on miles
I was at 72 MPH mostly the whole way I got 34.4MPG according to the dash computer.

track day ... hehehe. Not much here :D

I made a 320 mile drive in 4hrs, 7min ( avg speed ~80mph ) with my EB ( non-PP, Automatic ) which at the time was a Cobb stage 3 setup and tune and averaged 29.9mpg. I do not have a light right foot ever and the car is always in Sport mode. Daily mixed driving ( 80% hwy ) to and from work I average 30.8mpg.

About 26k on the odometer, and the dash says 28.4 mpg lifetime avg. Mostly highways.
